2016 Tmall Double 11 Carnival Night Settling in Shenzhen’s “Super Bowl” King, Director

On the afternoon of October 10, on the occasion of one month's countdown to Double 11, the "2016 Tmall Double 11 Carnival Night" organizing committee and the Shenzhen Municipal Government officially confirmed that this year's Double 11 Gala will be settled in the Shenzhen Universia Center Stadium.

Following Feng Xiaogang, David Hill, the producer of the gold medal program "King of the Super Bowl" in the United States, will serve as the director of this year's Double 11 Gala. David Hill has supervised the "Super Bowl" in the United States for more than 20 years and is responsible for producing classic TV programs such as the 88th Academy Awards Gala and "American Idol".

In addition, after Shanghai Jahwa won the exclusive naming rights of this year's Tmall Double 11 Gala in one fell swoop, Weijing Technology and Hibisili have officially become special partners for this year's Double 11 carnival night.

Regarding the 2016 Tmall Double 11 Carnival Night with Shenzhen, Alibaba Group Chief Marketing Officer Dong Benhong said: "Shenzhen has special significance to China, represents a spirit, ambitious, facing the world, and continuing the past. Double 11 has long crossed national boundaries and surpassed the boundaries of the Internet. "Double 11" has been going on for many years since 2009. Since 2015, Tmall Double 11 has tried the format of a party for the first time, and joined forces with Hunan Satellite TV to launch the "Tmall 2015 Double 11 Carnival Night" on the evening of November 10, 2015, with a 4-hour global interactive live broadcast, with famous director Feng Xiaogang as the director of the party. The Tmall Double 11 carnival night, which will start on November 10 this year, will gather more entertainment resources and introduce more international operations.

Super Bowl gold medal producer David Hill will serve as the director of the Double 11 party

As a legendary TV man, David Hill debuted as a sports journalist in the early days and served as a senior executive on Fox Sports and National Geographic Channel in the United States. For more than 20 years, Hill has been responsible for the live broadcast of famous events in the United States such as the Major League Baseball World Series, the National Hockey League's Stanley Cup and the NASCAR's Daytona 500 Games every year, especially the annual championship game of the National Football League, known as the "Super Bowl", and has been the highest-rated TV show in the United States for many years. In addition, David Hill has served as the executive producer of "American Idol" for three seasons, and was responsible for the production and broadcast of National Geographic Channel programs at the same time; and his latest "take-up" was the producer of the 88th Academy Awards Ceremony in 2016.
