According to reports on May 5, changes to the relevant rules and implementation rules for selling counterfeit goods on Taobao have officially come into effect. It is understood that the new regulations are more stringent, and there are two major changes. First, it has added a situation of identification of "sellers selling counterfeit or pirated goods and serious circumstances", and included the act of deliberately blocking or smearing trademarks. Second, it has clarified the scope of Taobao's deletion of counterfeit and pirated goods, and the illegal goods or information deleted by sellers are "unable to escape".
