The report shows that after counting the counterfeit data of eight categories of goods such as scarves, shoes and hats, cosmetics, and family planning supplies from 2015 to the present, it was found that the three cases of women's luggage, cosmetics, and watches and jewelry were well-known, ranking among the top three "fakes" on the Valentine's Day counterfeit list.

The report disclosed that from September 2015 to the present, the anti-counterfeiting special forces have eliminated counterfeit ladies' luggage with a case value of nearly 200 million yuan, becoming the "first counterfeit goods", mainly with well-known brands such as LV, Dior, and Chanel. The counterfeit cosmetics, ranked second in counterfeit goods, are worth nearly 20 million yuan, covering brands including BurBerry, Bedmar, Amore, Indonesia, etc. Following closely behind are counterfeit jewelry and watches of well-known brands such as Swarovski, with a case value of about 12 million yuan.
The report also shows that among the gifts given to boys by girls, belts have become the most fake products. Last year alone, Alibaba cracked down on counterfeit well-known brand belts with a case value of more than 2 million yuan.

National anti-counterfeiting trend
Guo Ying, an anti-counterfeiting expert from Alibaba Platform Governance Department, said that at present, the fake storage and production and sales dens of luggage, jewelry, cosmetics, and belts are mainly concentrated in the southeast coastal areas and spread to the northeast, central China, southwest and other places. At the sales level, social software is becoming an important outlet for fakes.

In addition, high-end counterfeits are now paying special attention to imitating details, making it difficult for consumers to distinguish between real and fake. "There are many identification methods for big-name women's handbags and cosmetics, but we found that many of these methods are not reliable." Guo Ying said that identifying the authenticity of cosmetics and counterfeit goods requires professional instruments and equipment, and it is difficult to make accurate judgments based on ordinary consumption of sensory senses. Therefore, the crackdown on counterfeit goods needs to be traced to its source. Only by removing the counterfeit den can the counterfeit goods be prevented from being circulated on the market. Relying on big data technology, Alibaba assisted law enforcement departments in closing 675 fake production, inventory and sales points in a year.
