As the last year of the 13th Five-Year Plan, 2020 is not only the final year for the comprehensive construction of a moderately prosperous society, but also the year for the decisive battle against poverty. According to national requirements, all rural poor people under the current standards in 2020 must be lifted out of poverty. Since 2016, countless people have used their actions to contribute to this battle.
On July 15, more than ten people from the Jinguan Club set off from all over the country and came to Linxia Prefecture, Gansu for a long distance, where they met with Xiamen Zhongda Group. The purpose of the members of the Jinguan Club this trip is to contribute their own strength and help Linxiazhou win the battle against poverty together. This event also attracted the attention of the Linxia Prefecture and Xiamen governments in Gansu Province. Qiu Wuwei, member of the Standing Committee of the Linxia Prefecture Party Committee and Vice Governor, Huang Heming, Director of the Xiamen Municipal Bureau of Commerce, and Su Jingning, Director of the Linxia Prefecture Bureau of Commerce, attended the event.

Why use e-commerce?
Going to Gansu to help poverty is a wish made by Lao Gao, the founder of Jinguan Club, in 2018. At that time, Lao Gao and Lin Qin, a member of Jinguan Club and chairman of Zhongda Group, went to Lao Gao's e-commerce tour group together. During this period, Lao Gao learned that Lin Qin had been working in Gansu to help poverty alleviation, not for profit, but for the purpose of driving local young people to change their families and lives through e-commerce. Lao Gao felt that this was a very meaningful thing, so he planted the desire to go to Gansu to help poverty.

In this Gansu poverty alleviation tour, led by Lin Qin, chairman of Zhongda Group, Lao Gao and the members of Jinguan Club went deep into Linxia for 2 days and 2 nights, visited Dajiexing Orchard in Tangwang Town, Dongxiang County, as well as some poor families, and used their e-commerce experience to help poor families in Gansu and local poor young people with dreams.
Speaking of why we need to use e-commerce, Lao Gao said: "Many families in the Northwest region live today and don't know how to live tomorrow. Many children are forced to abandon school and go home when they are in the fourth and fifth grades, and engage in construction labor to share the economic pressure at home. These young people have no way out in the local area, and we hope to help young people in the Northwest region, especially young people around 20 years old, help them do a good job in e-commerce, connect them with high-quality and reliable supply chains, so that they can have a better life.
It is better to teach people how to fish than to teach people how to fish
In Lao Gao's view, poverty alleviation is carried out continuously every year, which is also what a company and a circle should do. Because of this, Laogao's e-commerce circle is not just focusing on its own business, but is also helping the e-commerce industry in poor areas as much as possible, helping them change the local economic environment together and helping more people get rid of poverty.
Industrial poverty alleviation is a powerful measure to win the battle against poverty. Only when industries develop and "blood transfusion" becomes "blood production", can the poor people achieve continuous income growth and completely eradicate the root of poverty. The role of e-commerce is not only a carrier channel for industrial poverty alleviation, but also an effective way to prevent poverty relapse.

It is better to teach people how to fish than to teach people how to fish. This time, the members of Jinguan Club share some methods from the perspective of "East-East Cooperation, Sharing Heavy and Worries" Gansu Public Welfare Tour, the members of Jinguan Club share more of the methods from the perspective of "fishing". Under the leadership of the Gansu government, the Jinguan Club jointly held an e-commerce forum with the local e-commerce poverty alleviation office and the e-commerce association, which shared the future development direction of e-commerce with local e-commerce entrepreneurs and some young people who want to engage in e-commerce, so that they can clarify the development trend of e-commerce in the first-hand information they get.
In addition, Lao Gao also gave 100 free places for Lao Gao's e-commerce classes worth 300,000 yuan to young people in Linxia Prefecture. Before doing e-commerce, you must first understand and learn about e-commerce related knowledge. This knowledge can be found in Laogao e-commerce classroom, which will be very useful for local young people.
Of course, the members of the Jinguan Club also communicated with the local government, such as how to sell Linxia’s local specialties to the whole of China and even the world, and how to connect good sources of goods and good brands outside Gansu to local e-commerce people. In short, all discussions revolve around the e-commerce poverty alleviation model, uphold the original intention of empowering local e-commerce companies, and provide support for the continuous revitalization of rural e-commerce.
The first poverty alleviation base of Jinguan Club was established
Since 2018, Linxia Prefecture has trained 869 e-commerce talent students, providing entrepreneurial employment positions for nearly 350 students, opening 247 stores, with sales of more than 94 million yuan, and helping students who have been starting a business for more than three months to stabilize the average monthly income of 3,000 yuan, and the highest income has reached 100,000 yuan. For three years, the local government has been actively guiding and supporting Zhongda Group, a member company of Jinguan Club, to carry out e-commerce leaders training, and through the snowball demonstration and driving effect, it has attracted more young people to join the e-commerce army and introduced lively talent for the east-west e-commerce industry collaboration platform.
This time, under the witness of Huang Heming, Xiamen Municipal Bureau of Commerce and Qiu Wuwei, member of the Standing Committee of the Linxia Prefecture Party Committee and Deputy Governor, the first poverty alleviation base of Jinguan Club was officially established. In the future, members of Jinguan Club will use their years of experience in the e-commerce industry to help more poor families get rid of poverty, revitalize the economic environment of Linxia Prefecture, and do meaningful things together.

The Golden Crown Club was founded by Lao Gao in December 2011. With the mission of "helping every brother succeed", Lao Gao founded this circle for lonely and introverted e-commerce people, so that e-commerce people have support and direction on the road to entrepreneurship. The club’s vision is to make every brother an entrepreneur with a sense of family and country and social responsibility. The club has many activities every year, including international visits, private board meetings, seminars, study tours, travels, theme meetings, etc. to create a brother culture.
