It's time for Tmall to renew again, and the renewal standards for various categories have been released. This rule will be announced on September 24, 2016.
It will take effect on October 1, 2016
1) Merchants participating in Tmall's 2018 renewal must meet the requirements of the following "Renewal Assessment Standards", "Franchise Store Brand Authorization Link" and "Tmall 2018 Merchants Renewal Qualification Standards List" (expected to be announced in October 2017). The assessment period is from October 1, 2016 to September 30, 2017. If any of the above is not met, Tmall will no longer renew the annual contract with you. Merchants whose contract starts on and after July 1, 2016 do not need to participate in the assessment of store ratings, sales and special standards in some categories.
2) Merchants involving cross-category operations shall be assessed according to the standards corresponding to the main business category of the store.
3) If the brands operated by franchise store merchants do not meet the requirements of "franchise store brand authorization link", the corresponding brand authorization will be cancelled from January 1, 2018.
4) The store sales in the "Renewal Assessment Standard" refers to the sum of all orders with the merchant's transaction status "successful transaction" during the validity period of the agreement (except for false transaction orders and other illegal orders). This amount does not include freight, nor does it include the amount of failed transactions caused by rights protection, after-sales service, etc., and the amount of transactions under the first-level category name "Other".
5) Description of the authorization link level:
First-level authorization based on the trademark holder refers to the trademark owner authorizing the merchant to sell its branded products.
A complete second-level authorization based on the trademark holder refers to the trademark owner authorizing a company to sell its branded goods. The company authorizes the merchant to sell the branded goods. The merchant must provide the authorization letter given to a company by the trademark owner and the authorization letter given to the merchant by the company. By analogy, complete authorization within Level 2/Tier and fourth levels with trademark holders as the source.
For example:
The trademark owner authorizes Company A to sell products of its brand (deemed as a first-level authorization), Company A authorizes Company B to sell products of this brand (deemed as a second-level authorization), and Company B authorizes merchants to sell products of this brand (deemed as a third-level authorization).
6 ) If the standard needs to be adjusted within the scope permitted by law, Tmall will make public announcements and notify merchants in advance in accordance with the law.
