Later, as my ability improved, I only made thirty or forty calls a day in my second job. I increased the number of customers I visited, and my monthly performance was able to reach tens of thousands of yuan.

In that era, sales were not like now. We were all making unfamiliar phone calls outside. We had very detailed speeches. We had to get the front desk first, and then the marketing manager and finally the marketing director passed the test layer by layer. It was difficult to achieve performance, but the biggest advantage was that we were very good at training abilities.

In fact, the diligence of the first job is more than 5 times that of my second job, and the number of clients I talked about is at least 5 times that of my second job, but my performance is only one-tenth of that of my second job, because I was just chatting in the first job, and I didn’t do this in the second job. I began to learn to analyze which industries are easy to make transactions, and I would also directly look for executives. This is to sharpen my knife and know how to do better business, rather than doing it blindly.

The same is true for doing management. It will be easy to figure out the management clearly. After three or five hours, you can think about the future of the department, study competitors, new market trends, new marketing trends, new ways of playing, etc. If you are busy every day and have no time to think, it is a disaster. Because without learning and understanding new things, managers cannot lead the team forward.

The biggest advantage of learning is to change cognition. The management method is not difficult, mainly cognition. Therefore, managers must let the department develop the habit of learning, collective learning, and the habit of learning can be slowly developed. Generally, a habit can be developed in 5-8 days, and it will be formed after half a year. After that year, everyone's abilities will improve very quickly.
