Recently, a storm has been blew up on the Internet platform, from cracking down on tax evasion to the current "clear" special operations, and the rounds of rectification actions have made countless e-commerce people nervous...
Deprive your authority! Clearance!
The continuous rise of the Internet economy has injected infinite vitality into the entire market environment, but in the afterglow of light, problems such as traffic fraud, black public relations, and online water army are colluding with each other and supporting each other, which is corrupting the entire Internet market.
Against this background, on December 22, 2021, the State Cyberspace Administration of China deployed a special action to "Qinglang: Fight against traffic fraud, black public relations, and online water army".
It is understood that the operation is currently implementing platforms such as WeChat, Douyin, Kuaishou and Ctrip for a period of 2 months.
Among them, Douyin has arranged risk control strategy identification in the entire links such as ordering, payment, write-off, and refunds for the risk of frequent cheating, and can be dealt with in-process and after-process based on the identification results.

In addition, for merchants and experts who have false transactions, Douyin e-commerce will deal with it in a gradient manner according to its severity, including but not limited to closure and rectification, deduction of margins and liquidation.
It is reported that Douyin has punished 72,756 illegal merchants in the year, of which 1,344 have been cleared; a total of 17,615 violations have been dealt with.
For buyers participating in order brushing, the platform will grant a certain degree of authority according to the rules, including self-evaluation and restriction of ordering. Currently, a total of 152,000 buyers have been punished annually.
Mainstream platforms crack down on
quick worker
In 2019, Kuaishou issued several rules for platform management and governance, and in 2020, Kuaishou's e-commerce department handled more than 10 million related black and gray property accounts, and handled hundreds of millions of violations every day. Among them, more than one million illegal accounts involving gangs handled in November. Before Double 12 of the same year, Kuaishou banned nine fan-level anchors suspected of false propaganda.
It is worth mentioning that in recent years, Kuaishou has filed nearly 200 lawsuits involving black and gray industries.
At the same time, Kuaishou punished more than 520,000 fraud accounts for private order transactions in December 2021. Before this, Kuaishou had about hundreds of thousands of suspected banned accounts that were punished by the platform every month.
Dianping
Dianping’s “Clean Feng Action” punished 50,000 user accounts for “brushing positive reviews” in the first half of 2021, and more than 10,000 merchants for “brushing orders and reviews”. It cooperated with law enforcement agencies to crack down on 29 illegal order-brushing network gray-black industry gangs.
Taobao
Taobao will conduct monthly sampling of counterfeit sales on merchants since 2020. If malicious order swipes are found, merchants may face punishments such as damage to business reputation, product reputation, disrupting production and operation, false advertising, extortion and fraud.

JD.com
As early as 2016, JD.com clarified the platform's commercial value, operated honestly, firmly eliminated counterfeit goods, and cracked down on order brushing. If the merchant is caught in a false transaction, it will be a Dongdong warning; secondly, if the order is serious, if the order is brushed, the email will be sent to the seller's email address, and points will be deducted in the background, and the system will be reminded directly.
Pinduoduo
Pinduoduo said it will establish an "anti-cheating system" to eliminate order-brushing cheating in terms of motivation and possibility through self-development of "total sales data" of the platform and cracking down on false shipments.
It is not only the domestic one that resists black and gray industries
Black and gray industries are not only the pain point of domestic e-commerce , but also the main focus of cross-border e-commerce.
There are countless cross-border e-commerce sellers who fell under the "account closure wave" last year. The "Youkeshu" sold a big 10 billion yuan in a suspected violation of regulations. Amazon has frozen hundreds of millions of funds, and its revenue has dropped from 45 million to 1 million, and 1,400 employees have resigned. The attack intensity can be said to be a shocking hit if it doesn’t sound.
Moreover, Amazon has invested more than $700 million worldwide and has more than 10,000 employees around the world support the mall's compliance operations, preventing more than 6 million abnormal seller account registrations and more than 200 million false comments from being launched online. Data shows that more than 99% of false comments were discovered through active monitoring.
In addition, Amazon officially stated recently that since 2019, Amazon has assisted and cooperated with the public security organs in Shanghai, Henan and Shanxi to complete a number of investigations into cases against gray and black exported e-commerce organizations and illegal sellers.
It is roughly estimated that nearly 100 people involved in the case have reached. The illegal acts involved in the case include but are not limited to: illegally buying and selling citizens' personal identity information and company business licenses to try to register a seller's store on Amazon's overseas website and make profits from it, create malicious comments, brush orders and vote on letters, etc.
The era of high pressure is coming!
Combined with the recent governance of e-commerce taxation, it is not difficult to see that the entire Internet platform has gradually entered the current period of healthy development from its previous wild growth period. In addition to the national "clear" action, the state issued relevant regulations in August 2021, clearly pointing out that more comprehensive and strict supervision should be implemented for new types of unfair online competition such as "reverse order brushing", "blocking advertisements", "choose one of two" and "big data killing old customers".
Indeed, since the development of Internet e-commerce, China has become the world's largest online retail market, and building a good market ecological environment is conducive to the better development of the industry.
If the platform could only turn a blind eye to these methods in the past for the rapid growth of the market, then under tremendous pressure, in order to improve its credibility and competitiveness and avoid being backfired by "swer orders and speculation" and "false traffic", then it has to be "decisive" against behaviors that disrupt fair orders.
And these market behaviors are constantly sending a positive signal - e-commerce traffic purification supervision will enter a high-voltage era.
