On September 3, the research team of the Institute of Industrial Economics of the Academy of Social Sciences released a special report on "Research on the Digital Value of Foreign Trade to Domestic Sales and E-commerce Platforms". The report pointed out that "foreign trade to domestic sales" has now become an important adjustment direction for my country's export-oriented manufacturing companies to overcome difficulties. It mentioned that Taobao’s special price version has helped 300,000 foreign trade factories to be converted to domestic sales, covering 70% of the country’s industrial belts. In addition, according to official reports, since the Taobao Special Price Edition was launched on March 26 this year, it has gathered 145 industrial belts, 1.2 million industrial belt merchants, 500,000 foreign trade merchants, and more than 300,000 foreign trade factories in China within 100 days. Previously, 36Kr reported that Kuaishou e-commerce's GMV target has been raised to 250 billion yuan, while Douyin has reached 200 billion yuan. 36Kr asked Alibaba for confirmation on this, and as of press time, the other party had no response.
