On July 15, Amazon's official WeChat official account released information showing that the UK will officially withdraw from the EU's single market and customs alliance on January 1, 2021, although negotiations with the EU are still underway, including determining specific tariffs applicable under different circumstances. However, starting from January 1, 2021, a customs border will be added between the UK and the EU. This will have an impact on cross-border operations between the UK and the EU. Therefore, Amazon recommends that because FBM products using the European Delivery Network (EFN) will not be delivered across the UK and EU borders. If sellers need to fulfill their cross-border self-delivery orders, they must ensure that they handle the required customs declaration matters and pay all taxes and tariffs before delivering the goods to the buyer.
