Chapter 1 Quality Tmall
Article 1 Tmall establishes a hot recruitment brand library based on consumer needs and market needs to find merchants that provide high-quality goods and services; at the same time, merchants are also welcome to recommend good goods and good brands to Tmall to provide consumers with better products and services.

Chapter 2 Instructions for Arrival
Article 2 Tmall can decide whether to allow entry based on actual conditions (including but not limited to factors such as brand needs, company operating conditions, service level, etc.); at the same time, Tmall can require customers to provide other qualifications during the application and subsequent operation stages; Tmall will update entry standards from time to time in accordance with relevant national regulations, development trends of various industries and consumer purchasing needs.
Article 3 Merchants must provide information and information truthfully.
(1) Please be sure to ensure the authenticity of the relevant qualifications and information provided by you in the application for entry and subsequent business stages (if the relevant qualifications you provide (including but not limited to trademark registration certificates and authorization letters) are provided by a third party, please be sure to verify the authenticity of the documents first). Once the qualifications or information are found to be false, your company will be included in the list of non-integrity customers and Tmall will no longer cooperate with you;
(II) Merchants should truthfully provide the subject and related information of their store operations, including but not limited to information such as agent operators, actual store operators, etc.;
(3) Tmall has relevant regulations on changes in merchant information and information, but if merchants change the information listed in paragraph 2, they should notify Tmall in writing fifteen days in advance.
Chapter 3 Tmall store types and related requirements
Article 4 Flagship stores refer to stores opened in Tmall based on their own brands or exclusively authorized brands provided by trademark owners.
Flagship stores are divided into the following types:
1. Run a brand flagship store;
2. Operate a flagship store with multiple brands and each brand belongs to the same actual controller;
3. Flagship stores opened and operated by service trademarks (hereinafter referred to as "store-type flagship stores").
Article 5 A specialty store refers to a store opened by a brand provided by a trademark owner with an ordinary authorization to settle in Tmall.
(1) Specialty stores are divided into the following types:
1. Run a brand store;
2. Operate a store with multiple brands and each brand belongs to the same actual controller.
(2) The authorization documents issued by the trademark owner shall not be subject to geographical restrictions (except for individual categories), and the authorization shall not be valid for less than half a year.
Article 6: A specialty store refers to a store that operates two or more brands under the same category of Cat business on the same day.
Article 7 For details of the qualification requirements for applying for Tmall, please refer to the "Tmall Qualification Rules" and the "Tmall Store Flagship Store Qualification Rules".
Chapter 4 Store deposit/software service annual fee/rate standard
Article 8 Store deposit:
Merchants must pay a deposit when operating on Tmall. The deposit is mainly used to ensure that merchants operate in accordance with the "Tmall Service Agreement" and Tmall rules, and when merchants commit violations, they are used to pay liquidated damages to Tmall and consumers in accordance with the provisions of the "Tmall Service Agreement" and relevant rules. The renewal merchant must pay the next year's deposit in one lump sum within the time required for the renewal of the year. The newly signed merchant must pay the same lump sum after the application for entry review is approved. Depending on the nature of the store, the amount of the store deposit is as follows:
(1) Flagship stores and specialty stores: The store deposit with the trademark registration acceptance notice is RMB 100,000, and the store deposit with the registered trademark is RMB 50,000;
(II) Franchise stores: The store deposit with the trademark registration acceptance notice is RMB 150,000, and the store deposit with the registered trademark is RMB 100,000;
(III) Description of special categories:
1. Store-type flagship store, the store deposit is RMB 150,000;
2. For special goods (such as imported goods, etc.) that have not applied for trademark registration in mainland China, the store deposit is RMB 150,000;
3. The deposit for the flagship store and specialty store in the "Book, Audio and Video" category is RMB 50,000, and the deposit for the store is RMB 100,000;
4. The deposit for the "phone bill communication" category is RMB 10,000;
5. The deposit for flagship stores and specialty stores for the following first-class categories is RMB 10,000, and the deposit for specialty stores is RMB 100,000: ① Catering and food card coupons; ② Online store/network service/software; ③ Personalized customization/design service/DIY; ④ Movies/performances/sports events; ⑤ Decoration design/construction/supervision; ⑥ Consumption card; ⑦ Interior designers;
The deposit for flagship stores and specialty stores for the first-level category of "education and training" is RMB 10,000, and the deposit for specialty stores is RMB 50,000;
"Shopping and Pick-up Coupons" The deposit for flagship stores, specialty stores and specialty stores for the first-class category is RMB 100,000.
The deposit for the second-level store of the "Medical Services" under "Medical and Health Services" is RMB 300,000;
The deposit for the second-level store of the "App Store Recharge Card" under "Life and Entertainment Recharge" is RMB 10,000;
The deposit of flagship stores and specialty stores for the second-level categories of "sports and fitness", "KTV", "beauty and hair salon/body and nail art" and "recreation and entertainment" under "localized life services" is RMB 10,000, and the deposit of specialty stores is RMB 100,000;
6. The store deposit for the following categories of "Health Products and Medicine" is RMB 300,000: ① "OTC drugs"; ② "Contact lenses/care liquid"; ③ "Refined Chinese medicinal materials";
7. "Online Games and QQ" The deposit for flagship stores and specialty stores in major categories is RMB 100,000, the deposit for store stores in specialty stores is RMB 100,000, and the deposit for store stores in specialty stores in "Mobile Games and QQ" category under the "Online Games and QQ" category is RMB 500,000;
8. The store deposit for "new/used car (brand)" and "complete vehicle (dealer)" under the "auto and accessories" category is RMB 100,000;
9. The store deposit for the "fresh food pickup coupon" category under the "food" category is RMB 300,000.
For other special circumstances, the deposit shall be subject to the separate agreement between Tmall and the merchant.
(4) When the store deposit is insufficient, the merchant must make up for it within 15 days. If it fails to make up for it within the deadline, Tmall will supervise the store until it is replenished.
Article 9: Annual Fee for Software Services (hereinafter referred to as "annual Fee"):
Merchants must pay annual fees when operating on Tmall. For details on annual fees payment and settlement, please refer to the "Tmall 2019 Annual Fee Payment, Discounts and Settlement Standards for Software Services".
Article 10 Real-time deduction of software service fees:
Merchants need to pay software service fees based on a certain percentage of their sales (referred to as "rate"). For details on the service fee and rate standards for various types of software in Tmall, please refer to the "2019 Tmall Annual Fee Software Service Fees List".
Chapter 5 Restrictions on entry
Article 11 Tmall does not accept applications for entry from individual industrial and commercial households, nor does it accept applications for entry from non-mainland Chinese enterprises.
Article 12 Tmall does not currently accept applications for entry of brands that have not obtained trademark registration certificates or trademark acceptance notices (except for imported products in some categories), nor does it accept applications for entry of pure graphic trademarks.
Article 13 Brand restrictions:
(1) The same or similar to the brands and businesses of Alibaba Group Holdings Co., Ltd., its subsidiaries and affiliated companies (hereinafter collectively referred to as "Alibaba");
(2) Brands ending with "online" and "online goods";
(III) Brands containing industry names, common names, well-known people or place names;
(IV) Brands that are the same or similar to well-known brands.
(5) Including other brands that are not suitable for entering.
Article 14 If the company name contains the following font size, the entry shall be restricted:
(1) The same or similar to the brands and businesses of Alibaba Group Holdings Co., Ltd., its subsidiaries and affiliated companies (hereinafter collectively referred to as "Alibaba");
(II) The same or similar to a well-known brand.
(3) Including other font sizes that are not suitable for entry.
Article 15 Cross-category business restrictions:
Franchise stores (except some special products) are not allowed to cross business categories. For details, please refer to the list of products allowed to cross business categories.
Article 16 Restrictions on opening multiple Tmall stores with the same entity:
(I) The brands and/or products operated between stores shall not be repeated;
(II) Only one specialty store can be applied for in one business category.
Article 17 Restriction on the re-entry of the same entity to Tmall:
(1) Those who are seriously violated or falsified by Tmall will be permanently restricted from entering;
(II) If a natural person voluntarily withdraws twice within the year, he/she will be restricted within 6 months.
Chapter 6 Others
Article 18 The merchant must publish the specified number of treasures within 30 days from the date of successful payment of the fee (click here to view the specific specified number) and click on the store to go online. If the operation is not done within the deadline, the application for this entry is invalid and the entry application must be submitted again.
Article 19 Tmall has not authorized any institution to provide agency service. The registration application process and related charging instructions shall be subject to the Tmall Rules page.
Article 20 With the continuous development and changes of consumer demand and business models, Tmall will timely explore new store types and business models with merchants through proactive invitations or opening up settlements.
