1. Regarding the time and process of renewal of non-special categories
1) This renewal is expected to start at 10:00 on October 18, 2018 and end at 18:00 on December 26, 2018. For details, please refer to the follow-up email and website notification.
2) The 2019 renewal application path is: "Merchant Center-Tmall renewal service area", and the renewal process includes three links: "renewal registration, signing an agreement, and paying fees".
3) Merchants need to complete the annual fee payment and deposit of the 2019 annual fee before 18:00 on December 26, 2018; the annual software service fee paid by the merchant will be settled and returned at the beginning of 2019 according to the "Tmall 2018 Annual Fees Software Service Fees List" for various categories of annual fees.
4) If the merchant fails to renew the contract overdue (ends at 18:00 on December 26, 2018), the merchant will be unable to continue using Tmall services in 2019. The Tmall Service Agreement signed by Tmall and the merchant will automatically terminate at 24:00 on December 31, 2018. The merchant’s stores will also enter a regulatory state (i.e., the transaction cannot be normal). At the same time, Tmall will assist the merchant to withdraw from Tmall from January 2019.

Due to the special nature of the industry, merchants whose store business categories are service categories and electronic ticket vouchers have not yet been included in the scope of this self-service renewal. The renewal process is the same as in previous years, which includes the qualification review process.

4) If a special category merchant fails to submit a renewal application within the deadline (the deadline is 18:00 on December 20, 2018), the qualification review is not passed (the deadline is 18:00 on December 26, 2018), the full annual fee is not paid or the full deposit is not paid (the deadline is 18:00 on December 26, 2018), the merchant will be unable to continue using Tmall services in 2019. 3. Regarding renewal assessment:
