Public notice on changes to the ban on edible salt products

　　Dear merchants:

　　In order to standardize the market management order of Tmall online shopping platforms, create a safe and secure online shopping environment for consumers, and enhance consumers' purchasing confidence and satisfaction, Tmall will change the relevant terms of the "Taobao Ban Product Management Specifications" in accordance with relevant national laws and regulations.

　　This rule change will be announced on January 5, 2017 and will officially take effect on January 12, 2017.

　　The main changes to this rule are:

　　Edible salt products have been adjusted from banned to restricted sales. Merchants with provincial salt wholesale enterprises can sell them on Tmall after qualification review;

　　The points deducted for edible salt products will be deducted by Tmall members for each piece, and each piece of Taobao members will be deducted by zero points (but the cumulative points deducted within three days will not exceed seven points) to 2 points deducted for each piece of product (the cumulative points deducted within one day will not exceed 12 points).
