Based on various special scenarios that have occurred in the past, such as floods, fires, major national events, etc., it has a great impact on the delivery time of merchants, but merchants cannot change such objective factors, so corresponding rules are made for such situations.
The adjustment of this rule will be announced on August 25, 2017 and will take effect on September 1, 2017.
Key points for rule adjustment:
1. New "orders affected by floods, fires, earthquakes, major government meetings, major events, etc." will be added without compulsory support compensation if reported to Tmall;
2. Added "large-scale marketing activities of brand merchants and orders for warehouse storage abnormalities" to support separately agreed delivery time;
3. New regulations on "the order collection orders on rural Taobao platforms shall be subject to the delivery time of the "Instructions for Consumers of Order Collection Activities";
4. Adjustments have been made to calculate the delivery time of the merchant.
