In order to ensure consumers' consumption safety and consumption experience and promote the healthy and orderly development of the liquor market, Tmall plans to adjust the investment standards for liquor categories.
This rule change will be announced on August 18, 2017 and will officially take effect on August 25, 2017.
Main adjustment points:
1. Adjustment of the authorization and access requirements for liquor categories: the trademark owner must be directly authorized by the trademark owner when operating Moutai, Wuliangye, Yanghe, Luzhou Laojiao, Jiannanchun, Shuijingfang, Gujinggong, Xijiu, Fenjiu, Xinghuacun, and Zhuyeqing brands;
2. New service capability requirements: Merchants operating liquor products must join the "break-free service commitment".
