  The survey shows that only 2% of enterprises with post-90s employees account for less than 30%, 12% of enterprises account for 30%-50%, 37% of enterprises account for 50%-80%, and 49% of enterprises account for more than 80%.

  Cui Libiao, a special researcher at the China E-Commerce Research Center, said that post-90s employees are the main force of current e-commerce companies.   40% of e-commerce urgently need operational talents

  E-commerce is still a rising industry, and the talent gap is huge. Even in Hangzhou, which is "leading ahead", the talent gap is huge. The survey shows that 85% of e-commerce companies have a talent gap, and more than 40% have large-scale recruitment plans. At present, e-commerce companies urgently need talents. Among the surveyed companies, 40% urgently need e-commerce operation talents, 5% urgently need technical talents, 26% urgently need promotion and sales talents, 4% urgently need supply chain management talents, 12% urgently need comprehensive senior talents, and 9% urgently need product planning and R&D talents.

  Cao Lei, director of the China E-Commerce Research Center, said that operations, promotion and sales, and comprehensive senior management are still the most urgent talents that enterprises need. The proportion of enterprises that urgently need product planning and R&D talents has reached 9%, indicating that the company's layout concepts and actions at the front-end of the market are constantly strengthening.

  School training is out of touch with corporate needs

  Cui Libiao said that at present, e-commerce still relies heavily on talents and teams. The shortage of talents in the e-commerce industry has been the norm in recent years. The rapid development of the industry has created a large number of talent demands, and there is a disconnect between the students trained in schools and the actual needs of enterprises.

  To solve the talent problem, on the one hand, it is necessary to strengthen school-enterprise cooperation and jointly build a practical e-commerce talent training system; on the other hand, training of middle-level management talents in the enterprise can improve the work efficiency and business performance of the enterprise.
