Tmall launches overseas projects for domestic merchants to sell globally in one store

　　On June 12, Tmall announced today that it had officially launched the "Tmall Go Over" project, and domestic merchants can "sell the world in one store" and enter overseas markets.

　　Tmall said that "Tmall Going Overseas" is based on Tmall as its main engine, relying on the basis of covering transactions, payments, logistics, marketing, data, technology, etc., to gradually copy and implement the Tmall ecological model in Southeast Asia, India and global markets.

　　In September 2016, "Tmall Going Overseas" began to incubate internally on Tmall, including one million Tmall and Taobao merchants and 1.2 billion products before it was officially launched. The transaction scope has covered more than 200 countries and regions.

　　As part of "Tmall Going Overseas", Tmall Supermarket, which began trial operation in April this year, will officially open in Hong Kong on June 13, and the goods can be delivered the next day.

　　In addition to Taobao mobile phones, "Tmall Go Over" has opened a "Taobao Selection" channel by linking Lazada, the largest e-commerce platform in Southeast Asia. Its service scope includes 550 million consumers in six Southeast Asian countries such as Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, Thailand, the Philippines, and Vietnam. More national and regional services will be launched in the future.

　　On March 16 this year, the Singapore Station was launched; the Malaysia Station has been tried and will be grandly opened on June 13. In the next few months, Indonesia, Thailand, the Philippines and other 'Taobao Selected' sites will be launched one after another.

　　Tmall said that Tmall merchants only need to meet export quality and authorization requirements, and can be sold overseas through existing stores, and there is no need to add overseas operation teams, nor do they need to consider cross-border logistics, payment, product translation and other issues.

　　In the future, the countries and regions covered by "Tmall Go Overseas" will continue to expand, and various merchant tools for overseas use will be launched to give merchants more ability to operate overseas users and markets.
