It is understood that recently, JD.com and Tencent have joined forces to assist the Ministry of Public Security in solving a major case of stealing and selling citizens' personal information. In this case, an important gang member, Zheng Moupeng, was a network engineer during JD's probation period. According to the Ministry of Public Security, the CCP arrested 96 suspects involved in this case, including 5 billion pieces of personal information such as transportation, logistics, medical care, social networking, and banking.

Relevant information learned that because of his high education and high technical level, Zheng Moupeng applied for jobs at some well-known domestic websites. After gaining trust for a period of time, Zheng Moupeng used his work to steal the core data of the website. After the information theft is successful, leave the company and continue to apply for a job and steal information on the next well-known website. We have worked with criminal teams that have stolen personal information for a long time to exchange personal information data stolen from the company we work for and sell it on the Internet through various means. JD.com immediately provided clues to the public security organs.

JD employee Zheng Moupeng is one of the technicians in the case. The gang uses Han Mouliang as the core of the organization and Weng Mou and Zheng Moupeng as the technical support. Weng mainly hacked into the website server to obtain citizen information, and then monetized the information data to Han Mouliang and others for sharing the stolen money. The Ministry of Public Security attached great importance to this, set up a special task force to thoroughly investigate the case, and held a special case coordination meeting to analyze the case, and designated the Public Security Bureau of Bengbu City, Anhui Province to file a case for investigation in accordance with the law, and the public security organs in other places involved in the case cooperated closely. In September last year, the public security organs discovered in their work that a criminal gang invaded the servers of several domestic Internet companies, frantically stole citizens' personal information, and engaged in illegal activities such as online gambling and selling citizens' personal information.

According to the Criminal Investigation Bureau of the Ministry of Public Security, Han Mouliang met Weng by chance and felt that he had the ability to hack the server, so he hired Weng as his technical consultant, and Weng organized a hacker circle to steal a large amount of citizen information. Yang Qing, captain of the Criminal Police Detachment of Bengbu Public Security Bureau, said, "Weng is from Huanggang, Hubei. Although he only graduated from high school, he has high skills. During the interrogation, his accomplices and Weng confessed that he was also one of the participants in the production of the Internet virus "Panda Burning Incense".

Han Mouliang organized another group of troops to set up a company, and put a seemingly legal cloak on the crime through corporate operations. Since 2015, the gang has hacked into the network servers of several companies and stole citizens' personal information. In this organization, some people are specifically responsible for stealing citizens' personal information, some people use technical means to organize and build databases, and some people will directly use the data organized and built databases, some for sale, some for exchange, and some for data monetization... "This criminal gang has formed an Internet black and gray industry chain, which can be said to be like a one-stop stealing and selling." Yang Qing introduced.

After four months of visits, investigation and careful investigation, Bengbu police found out that this was a criminal gang that invaded the servers of Internet companies to steal and sell citizens' personal information, involving 14 provinces and cities across the country, including Anhui, Beijing, Liaoning, Henan, and nearly 100 people involved in the case. After Han Mouliang's stolen personal information was cashed in various forms, he made profits of millions of yuan. At the same time, the hackers Wang and Fang, located in Liaoning, also stole citizen bank card information and provided it to Han Mouliang. Han Mouliang monetized it in the form of selling online virtual currency and then shared the stolen money.

The gang hacked into the network servers of several companies through hackers, stealing citizens' personal information such as network accounts, passwords, ID numbers, telephone numbers, logistics addresses, etc. Han Mouliang established some gaming websites. He conducted precise promotions by invading the servers of other gambling websites, which is equivalent to poaching other people's customers. After stealing the information, the gang first sold a batch of QQ accounts and game equipment in the game account to cash out. Zheng Moupeng, who stole personal information in this case, worked in the security departments of many well-known Internet companies, and used his position to steal user personal information, which is actually a duty crime.

Recently, well-known companies such as JD.com, Tencent, Baidu, Walmart China, Procter & Gamble, Lenovo, Midea, Xiaomi, Meituan Dianping, Vipshop, Li Ning, Yonghui Supermarket, Jiawoxin Rongmao, and the Criminal Law Science Research Center of Renmin University of China jointly launched the "Sunshine Integrity Alliance".
