Tmall's 2017 renewal includes two parts: operational capability assessment and renewal qualification review: the former focuses on merchant operational capabilities, goods and service quality, and see the "Tmall 2017 Renewal Assessment Standards List of Tmall 2017 Renewal Assessment Standards List of Tmall 2017" ; the latter focuses on reviewing the validity of qualifications and brand authorization links. 1. Regarding renewal time and process:
1) The registration for this renewal ( click here to view the registration process ) is expected to start at 10:00 on October 17, 2016 and end at 18:00 on December 20, 2016. For details , please refer to the follow-up email and website notification.
2) The 2017 renewal application path is: Merchant Center-Tmall Service Zone. The renewal process includes four steps: "Submit a renewal application (please click the "Submit renewal" button to complete the submission of the application), company information confirmation, signing an agreement, paying annual fees and depositing a deposit".
3) After the renewal qualification review is passed, you need to complete the payment of the annual fee for the 2017 year and the deposit of the deposit before 18:00 on December 26, 2016 ; the annual technical service fee you have paid will be settled and returned at the beginning of 2017 in accordance with the " Tmall 2016 Technical Service Fee Annual Fee List of Various Categories" in accordance with the "Tmall 2016 Technical Service Fee Annual Fee List" .
4) If you fail to submit a renewal application after the deadline (the deadline is 18:00 on December 20, 2016), the review is not passed (the deadline is 18:00 on December 26, 2016), the annual fee or the deposit is not paid (the deadline is 18:00 on December 26, 2016), you will not be able to continue using Tmall services in 2017. The "Tmall Service Agreement" signed by Tmall and you will automatically terminate at 24:00 on December 31, 2016, and your store will also enter a regulatory state (that is, it is impossible to trade normally). At the same time, Tmall will assist you in withdrawing from Tmall from January 2017.
5) In the "maintaining company information/maintaining brand information/maintaining personnel information" process of the renewal process, please be sure to carefully check the relevant information (including but not limited to the company's registered address, company business address, contact information, etc.) to ensure that the information is filled in accurately; if the relevant information changes in daily operations, please be sure to log in to the "Merchant Center-Tmall Merchant Business Card-Merchant Information Maintenance" in time to modify it.
2. Regarding renewal assessment and qualification standards:
1) Merchants participating in Tmall's 2017 renewal must meet the requirements of the "Tmall 2017 Renewal Assessment Standards List" . You can view the specific assessment results in the "2017 Renewal-Renewal Data Board" of the [Merry Center]-[Tmall Merchant Business Card] module. For merchants whose assessment fails to meet the standards, Tmall will open technical support for transferring Taobao enterprise stores for you. For details, please refer to the "Announcement on the Tmall Store to Transfer Taobao enterprise store function to Release".
2) Please be sure to stamp your company's red or fresh seal for renewal and uploaded qualifications. The validity period of the qualification must be filled in accurately. At the same time, please ensure that your company has no core qualifications (including but not limited to corporate qualifications, industry qualifications, trademark qualifications, authorized qualifications, etc.) during renewal and operation.
3) Please be sure to ensure the authenticity of your uploaded qualifications. Once you find a false qualification, Tmall has the right to no longer renew it with you and terminate your cooperation with you. At the same time, your company will be included in the list of non-integrity customers. Tmall will no longer cooperate with you and will no longer accept your company's new store application.
3. Regarding the brand requirements of franchise stores:
1) The brands operated by franchise store merchants must meet the requirements of the "franchise store brand authorization link". See the "Tmall 2017 Renewal Assessment Standards List" or the "Tmall 2017 Renewal Qualification Standards List" . Franchise store brands that do not meet the authorization link requirements will cancel their brand authorization from January 1, 2017.
2) For franchise store brands that have "incomplete information, expired qualifications, and failed review", you need to click the "Resubmit" button during the renewal registration process to submit valid qualifications and click the "Submit Brand" button , or log in to "Merchant Center-Brand Management-My Qualification Management" after the renewal is successful (the brand status is "Pending review" and "Under review"). If you do not update before December 31, 2016 , Tmall will default that you will no longer operate the brand, and cancel the brand and remove the relevant products from January 2017. If you need to continue to operate in the future, you need to log in to "Merchant Center-Shop Management-Brand Management" to reapply for the addition of the brand according to the investment standards at that time.
3) According to Article 8 of Chapter 2 of the "Tmall 2016 Annual Investment Promotion Standards": "Franchise stores, stores that operate two or more other people or own brands (trademarks are R or TM status) under the same business category of Tmall." If you have only one brand left in your franchise store, please add the brand to two or more in time. If the increase is successful after the deadline, Tmall will no longer renew the contract with you.
