Alibaba (NYSE:BABA) today released its fourth quarter financial report for the 2018 fiscal year ended March 31. The report shows that the company's revenue for the quarter was RMB 61.932 billion (approximately US$9.873 billion), a year-on-year increase of 60%; according to US General Accounting Standards (GAAP), net profit was RMB 6.641 billion (approximately US$1.059 billion), compared with net profit of RMB 9.852 billion in the same period last year, a year-on-year decrease of 33%; diluted profit per share was RMB 2.88 (approximately US$0.46), compared with RMB 4.12 billion in the same period last year, a year-on-year decrease of 30%.
