It is the third largest online shopping website in English in the world.
It was learned that Alibaba AliExpress released the 2019 announcement of Chinese sellers' entry and renewal. When the investment and assessment work in the new year starts, AliExpress will sincerely continue to work with sellers to jointly create a global brand overseas selection platform that "good goods are not expensive, rich and diverse, and fun".
It is reported that the investment promotion rules in 2019 will roughly continue the rules in 2018, but some rules will be adjusted appropriately to meet the suggestions of past sellers. If you are a new seller who plans to settle in (a seller who has not settled before the date of this announcement), you can apply to the platform for settlement in accordance with the new seller settlement process. If you are an old seller who has settled in (a seller who has settled in before the date of this announcement), you can renew or re-enter in 2019.
1. Opening hours of entry and renewal channels
1. The 2019 category investment promotion entrance will be officially opened on January 7, 2019.
The 2018 Seller Service Agreement will be terminated on December 31, 2018. For platform sellers to better arrange operations and renewal, the category operation authority in 2018 will be extended to 24:00 on January 31, 2019. If it is a seller who has settled in, the platform recommends that the seller complete the 2019 renewal before 24:00 on January 31, 2019, otherwise new products will not be issued thereafter. The seller's online products will also be removed from the shelves according to the expiration date on January 31, 2019 (but if the seller completes the renewal and annual fee payment in the future, he can still list the products with business permissions on his own).
For sellers who have paid the fee before the date of the announcement and are still operating on the platform on December 31, 2018, if the seller submits a renewal application before 24:00 on February 2, 2019, they will receive the annual fee reduction and exemption discount from the platform (according to the business category). Sellers who do not meet the above conditions shall pay the annual fee for the access category in full in accordance with the "AliExpress 2019 Annual Fees List of Technical Service Fees for All Categories".
2. The entry for category investment promotion in 2018 will be officially closed on December 28, 2018. New merchants can pay for entry on January 7, 2019.
3. The exit entrance for sellers who enter in 2018 will be officially closed on December 28, 2018. If you are a seller who has entered the business category and plans to withdraw from the business category, please apply before December 28, 2018; at the same time, you are reminded to note that applying for withdrawal before December 28 is a mid-way exit from the business category, so that sellers will not be able to enjoy the annual fee incentive refund policy for the business category at the end of the year.
2. Main changes in renewal in 2019
1. In 2019, some major business categories will be integrated, and at the same time, some major business categories will continue to be shared in 2018.
In order to ensure the fair operating environment of the platform, reduce the operating costs of sellers, and enhance the competitiveness and marketing capabilities of sellers, the platform integrates some major business categories in 2019. For the integrated major business categories, sellers only need to pay an annual fee to operate the integrated categories under the major category. For specific categories and rules, please refer to Appendix 1 of this announcement.
2. In 2019, the annual fee for most major operating categories was RMB 10,000. At the same time, the platform adjusted the annual fee for some higher major operating categories in 2018. For specific changes, please refer to Appendix 1 of this announcement.
3. In 2019, the platform will continue to have the rights to the "Standard Sales Plan" and "Basic Sales Plan" packages for sellers to choose from. The two sales methods are mainly different in annual fee settlement and system function usage rights (see Appendix 2 of this announcement for specific rules).
In 2019, the number of online product releases of the "Basic Sales Plan" will be increased from the original 300 to 500 to better meet the operating needs of start-up merchants. If the seller tries AliExpress for the first time, he is still unsure of AliExpress's business method or the current transaction scale has not yet met the annual fee refund standard, the seller can choose the "Basic Sales Plan" (the account has not been closed illegally, and the seller who chooses the basic sales plan can receive the full annual fee refund in accordance with the seller's service agreement, which will exempt the system service costs in operation to the greatest extent).
If the choice of a basic sales plan cannot meet the operating needs, the platform provides a channel for upgrading the basic sales plan to standard sales plan. You can apply for the "Basic Sales Plan" in My Equity-Package Equity ("Basic Sales Plan" GMV 2000 or above in the past 30 days and the service level of the month is non-failed (not assessed + passing and above), you can apply for the "Standard Sales Plan", which is subject to the seller's service agreement)
4. The 2018 annual fee reward refund will be carried out one after another starting from January 3, 2019.
If your store meets the requirements for annual fee return, the reward refund amount will be returned to your RMB withdrawal account bound to the International Alipay within 15 working days. To this end, the platform reminds you not to ensure that the RMB withdrawal account you bind in the transaction-International Alipay account-bound, otherwise the returned annual fee will not be returned normally. 5. In 2019, the quarterly category service assessment time remains unchanged. Please pay attention to the platform for the assessment indicators of various categories to issue an announcement in late December 2018.
