Among the 91 new energy special vehicles, 67 are equipped with ternary lithium batteries, accounting for 73.63%; among the 29 new energy passenger cars, 22 are equipped with ternary lithium batteries, accounting for 75.86%. Expanded to the first five batches of catalogs, among the 464 new energy special vehicles selected, a total of 312 models equipped with ternary lithium batteries, accounting for 67.24%; among the 203 new energy passenger cars selected, a total of 140 models equipped with ternary lithium batteries, accounting for 68.96%.
Automotive industry analysts believe that as the policy gradually becomes clear, the production and sales of pure electric vehicle traffic will increase significantly year-on-year, and the increase in the market for pure electric vehicle traffic will also drive the growth of demand for ternary lithium batteries. Because ternary lithium material batteries have the advantages of high energy density, long cycle life and low cost, and can better meet the needs of pure electric vehicle flow vehicles.

Looking at the five batches of recommended catalogs this year, Dongfeng Motor has undoubtedly become a major producer of pure electric special-purpose vehicle models, and its number of models has been ranked first in the catalog list many times. In May, Jiangte Electric announced that its wholly-owned subsidiary Kowloon Automobile and Zhuhai Yinlong's wholly-owned subsidiary Guangtong Automobile signed a purchase contract of 2.655 billion yuan. Within one year from the date of signing the procurement contract, Guangtong Automobile plans to purchase pure electric Effie Auto and 4.9-meter Effie van logistics vehicles produced by Kowloon Automobile. Afterwards, Yiwei New Energy and JAC Motors signed an exclusive operation channel dealer cooperation agreement for new energy pure electric vehicle traffic, and signed a 2017 vehicle procurement intention contract, planning to purchase 5,000 new energy pure electric vehicle traffic vehicles.
Not only car companies, e-commerce giants are also competing to launch new energy logistics vehicle plans. JD.com founder Liu Qiangdong once shouted on Weibo: "In the next five years, we promise to replace all tens of thousands of trucks with non-smoking electric vehicles!" Liu Qiangdong said that four years ago, JD.com established a green logistics project team within it. JD.com has spent several years working with six domestic and foreign auto manufacturers to continue to develop electric trucks. This year, it finally made a major breakthrough, and JD.com has installed more than 100 electric trucks.
On May 22, Cainiao Network launched a new energy smart logistics vehicle plan, and plans to jointly launch 1 million new energy smart logistics vehicles with SAIC and Dongfeng in the next five years.
With the rapid development of e-commerce and express delivery industries, new energy logistics vehicles have become popular.
