In a blink of an eye, I have been starting a business for 15 years, and our earliest product, Laogao E-commerce Club, has been 12 years. Today I read the article from 2013 again, and compared it with the present, and I feel a lot of emotion.
Before starting a club, I was also an e-commerce man with my own store and was considered a native online businessman. But before that, like most people, I was an unknown office worker and a pure grassroots.
When I opened an online store in 2008, I had no source of goods, so I went to negotiate cooperation with many chain stores, undertake the online store business of many stores, and jointly implement the O2O model of e-commerce with offline stores.
In 2009, I founded a gang, which grew to more than 100,000 members in one year, becoming the largest gang in the country at that time.
So in 2010, Laogao E-commerce Club was established, and it took nearly half a year to lose money. It was also during this period that I had accumulated a group of loyal fans. The next year, I formed a team to run the club, and in more than a year, I developed the club into a mid-to-high-end organization with 700 online merchants.

In 2012, I founded Shanghai Xuanming Network Company and carried out Weibo operations. In just over a year, I had 8 Sina Weibo and 2 Tencent Weibo, and had millions of real fans, making it the largest online business Weibo at that time.
The next year, my team reached more than a dozen people. In addition to operating Weibo, I also started operating public accounts, Qianniu E-commerce and other platforms, and created the first domestic top e-commerce club - Jinguan Club . The requirement that members' annual sales must be more than 50 million. Only in this way can the founders of the company join Jinguan Club.

At that time, the overall annual sales exceeded 10 billion. Ten years have passed, and the requirement for joining the club has become an annual turnover of more than 100 million yuan. Today, the overall annual sales of Jinguan Club have exceeded 65 billion yuan.
Later, I founded Lao Gao SNS Club, which specifically helped e-commerce transform into social e-commerce to provide opportunities. The registration was full in the month of its establishment, and it was a hit. Of course, this club is no longer here.
In 2014, I moved the company to a 5A-grade A office building in Shanghai as a whole, achieving a transformation from a loser to a high-end team. The team also expanded twice, and also expanded the e-commerce training business, including the Laogao E-commerce Special Training Camp, the Laogao SNS Special Training Camp, etc., successfully completing the expansion of all business!

Everyone calls me Lao Gao. Actually, my surname is Wang. Because I opened a store back then, my Wangwang ID was called "Gao Shang Life Elements", and everyone slowly called me "Lao Gao".
During the years since I started my business, I have worked as a seller and delivered goods in person. When I was 30 years old, I fulfilled my promise to my wife:
"Give me three years. If I can't make any progress within three years, I will never start a business again in my life and work hard."
This is a great kind of wish and motivation. When I said this, my wife and I both cried.
I have a typical Northwest personality, not bend around the bush and have a straightforward personality. This personality is also reflected in clubs. I insist on the purity of the circle. Once a third-party service provider pretended to be a merchant and sneaked into the club. After a long investigation by the customer service supervisor, I found out that I directly cleared it and refunded the membership fee.
Because our club refuses all third-party members to join, refuses to attract business, and refuses to advertise, we must maintain a good communication atmosphere! Although the club does not accept third parties, I am optimistic about the prospects of the third-party service industry. Many third parties have relatively sufficient capital chains. When they join the club, they even take the initiative to ask for an additional 4 to 5 times the membership fee.

Because one member in the club was converted into a third-party service provider, the member developed the other two members into customers, charged them 30,000 yuan each, and conducted two days of training.
After I found out, I asked these two people if they think it is worth it? They feel very unworthy.
Since then, I have begun to show mercy to members who have transformed into a third-party service provider and no longer retain the qualifications to join the club.
Over the years, I have known that there are reliable third parties and I believe that there are. After understanding, we can talk about cooperation, but it is still not possible to join the club, otherwise the circle will become more scented.
