On April 19, Taobao Alliance launched a channel management function, which allows you to use a coupon to view data from each channel. E-commerce merchants only need to give the investment team leader a coupon, and the investment team leader can convert it into exclusive links for multiple channels in the background. They do not need to repeatedly ask the merchant’s channel data, and they can adjust their promotion strategies themselves.

In this way, the effect data can be more rigorous than the original method of finding e-commerce merchants to divide coupons, and it is not easy to "cross the coupons". During the promotion period, new cooperation channels can be added at any time, and it is said that up to 50 channels can be managed at the same time. With the support of channel management capabilities, group leaders can focus on their own advantages, those who are good at investment promotion and those who are good at promotion will be promoted, and those who are good at promotion will be promoted, so the cooperation efficiency will be higher.

Tmall updates authentic guarantee service specifications


On the same day, Tmall issued an announcement to change the "Certainty Guarantee Service Specifications".

In the changed service definition, "authentic" mainly refers to three categories:


1) Products that are not “counterfeit registered trademarks (including pirated versions)”;

2) Imported goods that are not “unauthorized”;

3) Products that are not "counterfeit material ingredients".


The definitions of "counterfeit registered trademarks (including pirated trademarks)" and "unauthorized declaration" shall be subject to the provisions of the "Tmall Market Management Code". "Counterfeit material ingredients" refers to the situation in which e-commerce merchants have completely inconsistent with the physical objects received by the consumer.

In service guarantee, after the merchant completes the compensation, the failure to perform the service will no longer fall within the scope of the scope of complaints for violations of general violations in the Tmall Rules. If e-commerce merchants fail to fulfill their commitment to genuine guarantee services, they can make a complaint through the "Taobao app-My Taobao-Official Customer Service/Exclusive Customer Service" or complain through the Tmall customer service channel.

It is understood that this adjustment will take effect three days later (i.e. April 25). Although this revision is only a text change in the rules, it clarifies the definition of counterfeit materials, which not only avoids the behavior of some merchants taking advantage of loopholes, but also protects the rights and interests of consumers and the creative motivation of e-commerce merchants. At the same time, the appeal method was also clarified and the platform's after-sales service system was further strengthened. It can be seen that Taobao is protecting the rights and interests of consumers and merchants from details and catering to the strategic policy of putting consumers and e-commerce merchants first.


Taobao launches new function with one-click price guarantee within 90 days


It is reported that Taobao has officially launched the "price protection center" function recently, and the location of the function entrance is also placed in a conspicuous place. It is understood that this function is only open to 88 members, but in fact, ordinary users can also reach this function by entering the keyword "one-click price insurance" in the "official customer service". It is more convenient for users with 88 members to find it. Just click "My Taobao" and select "Exclusive Customer Service" in 88 VIP.



At present, Taobao supports orders that can support price insurance within 90 days. Users can quickly apply for price protection through "one-click price insurance". The difference can be refunded if the application is successful.

It is said that as early as the Double 11 period in 2016, Taobao had already launched the price insurance function. The entrance to the "price insurance" function at that time was relatively hidden, and it was necessary to send the "price insurance" keyword through customer service, and then read the orders you want to have price insurance. The whole process was still a bit cumbersome.

The "Price Insurance Center" launched this time is an upgrade and improvement based on the past, and can be understood as a collection of "Price Insurance" functions. This function is also intended to change Taobao's focus from data to services, build a complete service system to increase consumers' purchasing power, thereby increasing platform revenue and increasing market competitiveness.

In addition to the above three new regulations, on April 18, Taobao will change the relevant terms of the "Taobao Timeout Instructions" and will officially take effect on April 25 . There is only one change in this rule, which is to delete the exception provisions of the "No shipment and instant refund" rule that the goods under the first-level category of "residential furniture" do not apply.
